    Welcome!

    • Thank you for visiting Desert Star Academy, home of the Spartans, located in Fort Mohave, Arizona. We are a tuition-free school of choice chartered by the state of Arizona. We occupy three campuses: Desert Star Preschool for ages 2-5; Desert Star Elementary serves scholars in Kindergarten through fifth grade; and Desert Star Middle School houses sixth through eighth grade scholars. For the 2024-2025 school year, DSA will be expanding to include Desert Star High School - home of the Titans. DSHS will serve ninth & tenth graders.  Open enrollment is now live.

    • Pre-Kindergarten School Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm (Drop Off 7:30am)
      Elementary School Hours: 8:00am-3:30pm (Drop Off 7:30am)
      Middle School Hours: 7:30am-3:20pm (Drop Off 7:10am)
      High School Hours: 7:40am-3:30pm (Drop Off 7:20am)

      21st Century Community Learning Centers "After-School Program" Hours:
      Elementary & Middle School Only: 3:30pm-5:30pm

    Enrollment Forms

    • Preschool Enrollment Form

      To enroll your child in our preschool program please download, print and fill out the application and bring your completed forms to Desert Star Academy Preschool located at 5635 Highway 95 Suite F, Fort Mohave, AZ.  Hours are 7am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday.  Any questions please call 928-788-3987.

      Download and Print the Enrollment forms to register your scholar for Desert Star High School.  We are currently only enrolling for grades 9th and 10th for the 2024-2025 school year.  Grade 11 will be added for the 2025-2026 school year and Grade 12 will be added for the 2026-2027 school year.

    • Parental classroom visits, tours, and observations:

      Parents/guardians must get approval from the Administration and all the classroom teachers that will be observed when they would like to observe the campus for the day. Parents must complete and have approved the School Day Visitor Form at least twenty-four (24) hours before the visit. Guests are bound by the same rules as other scholars and will be expected to comply or will be asked to leave the premises.
