• Desert Star Middle School believes scholar involvement in school activities is important for scholars when it comes to their personal and social development. To help them develop well-rounded interests and college readiness and strong resumes. Desert Star Middle School offers several activities for scholars to participate in: Scholar Council, Yearbook Club, Drama Club, Robotics Club just to name a few.  Throughout the year, social events are planned to bring scholars together, such as the school dances, adventurous and explorative field trips, movie nights, bowling excursions, location get-togethers, and more.

    These enrichment activities are designed to enrich and benefit your scholar’s growth and character development.  The benefits to our extracurricular programs is the ability for scholars to develop their communication skills, social skills, critical thinking skills and collaboration skills to become well rounded citizens in society.
